Heritage Memorials

Heritage Memorials is a memorial company that makes cemetery monuments, headstones, gravestones, markers and plaques, serving families of all faiths and traditions. Its work covers veteran and civic memorials, signs, benches and pet markers, and the company says it has been in business for over 30 years, serving customers across New England.

The company keeps hundreds of monuments in stock on its lot, so customers can choose one in person. It can also produce a custom design in the shape, size and color a family wants, with work ranging from hand-carved designs to laser etching. Each stone is personalized and handcrafted at the company's shop on Main Street in Sanford. Staff help guide customers through the selection process. The shop is open weekdays, with Saturday hours in the warmer months, and winter visits are best arranged by calling ahead.
