Chairman of the Board

Chairman of the Board is a furniture maker that builds handcrafted indoor and outdoor furniture, with the curved-back Adirondack chair as its core product. Scott Masi founded the company in 1990 after studying boat building, and pieces are made from teak and mahogany in stained or painted finishes. The line also includes dining sets, garden benches and rockers, and dining chairs can be built to a customer's specifications and delivered.

Pieces can be engraved with a college seal, business name or logo, which suits gifts, awards and company outdoor spaces. The company also rents its outdoor furniture for weddings, reunions, business functions and dinner parties. Customers reach the shop by phone or through the website's contact form, and the studio is in Sanford, Maine.
