Sean Patrick's

Sean Patrick's is an Irish pub and sports bar on San Marcos' downtown square, known for handcrafted pub food such as house-made bangers and mash, loaded nachos, bread pudding and corned beef and cabbage. The menu also includes burgers, wings and fish and chips, and the bar pours from about 70 beer taps, some of them brewed in-house.

Tables can be reserved online, and the pub hosts private parties, birthday dinners and rehearsal dinners, and also does catering. The building is a historic 1885 structure at 202 East San Antonio Street, and the bar has been open on the square since 2005. Its weekend hours run late, with the pub open until 2 AM Thursday through Saturday.
