PM Autoworks

PM Autoworks is an independent shop in San Jose that works only on Subaru vehicles, covering factory scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, engine and head gasket repair, CVT and transmission service, brake and suspension work, and wheel bearing and timing belt replacement. The team says it uses Genuine Subaru and OEM-quality parts and backs qualifying repairs with a 2-year, 24,000-mile warranty. The shop was founded in 2016 out of a car club and has grown from there.

The shop is at 226 Phelan Ave, Suite B in San Jose, and it takes customers from across the South Bay and Silicon Valley. Its listed weekday hours are on this page, and the shop is closed on weekends. Check engine light diagnosis is one of the more common reasons people come in, and the shop describes its approach as a more personal alternative to a dealership.
