Auto repair in San Jose

Auto repair shops help you keep your vehicle running safely, from routine maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups to bigger jobs such as engine work, transmission repair, timing belts, and air conditioning service. Many also run computer diagnostics when a warning light comes on, which can save you from guessing at the problem. Before you choose a shop in San Jose, call and ask for a written estimate, and find out whether the mechanic can explain the repair in plain terms. Check that the shop's hours fit your schedule, and book larger jobs like transmission or timing belt work a few days ahead so you are not left without a car.
