Dorian Clair Antique Clock Repair

Dorian Clair Antique Clock Repair restores antique clocks by taking each one apart completely, cleaning every component and polishing the wear surfaces. When a part is missing or too worn to save, the shop machines a replacement from scratch on its own lathes and milling machine, including gears. Dorian Clair has been repairing clocks for over 62 years.

Each clock is cleaned again, reassembled, lubricated and tested for several weeks before it leaves the shop. Free consultations and estimates are offered. The shop is in San Francisco's Sanchez Street area, usually open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and it's best to call ahead to confirm before stopping by.
