Veltz Fine Art

Veltz Fine Art is the studio and gallery of artist Colleen Veltz, who works in paintings and mixed media. Her series include Delphinium, Ciebo, Inktober Landscapes, Fuschia, Hummingbird, Fischoff, Feather, Haptic paintings, installations and gyotaku, a Japanese fish-printing method. She has exhibited in Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Portugal and several U.S. cities, and she has spent years mentoring students and working with community groups on fundraising and art therapy projects.

The studio is at Historic Decatur Drive in San Diego and is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM to 4 PM. Visitors can also call ahead for a private appointment to view works, and the studio is an active working space, so new pieces are often in progress. The studio also hosts events, workshops and team-building sessions, and an email list is available for news about new and available artwork.
