Seabreeze Chocolates

Seabreeze Craft Chocolates makes bean-to-bon chocolate in San Diego, turning out single-origin bars, truffles, bonbons and other confections. Its dark chocolates are bitter-free and made without soy lecithin or other emulsifiers, using cacao bought directly from farms in the Western Hemisphere. Jim Lantry founded the business after taking up chocolate making during the pandemic.

The factory shop lets customers watch the process, from roasting and grinding beans to making bars and bonbons, and the team teaches truffle-making classes. Hours are Monday through Saturday 11am to 7pm and Sunday noon to 7pm. The shop is at Valley Centre Drive in the San Diego area, in the 92130 zip code.
