Nonprofits & charities in San Diego

Nonprofits and charities in this directory help people give time, goods, or money, and many also offer direct help to neighbors. Depending on the organization, you may find services such as blood donation, walk-in or online donor appointments, low-cost computers, affordable internet access, computer refurbishing, IT workforce training, or artist studios. Not every organization offers every service, so check the listing before you visit. When choosing one, ask what share of donations goes directly to programs and whether they can explain their current needs in writing. For donation drives, call ahead or book an online appointment, since walk-in times can fill up or change.
