My Zero Home

My Zero Home is a solar and battery installer that designs systems around each home's hourly electricity use. The company offers solar panels, home batteries, EV charging, energy automation, and remodeling and new construction work. Its founders say they have more than 40 years of electrical and solar experience, and the team offers over 25 panel and 15 battery options rather than a single product line.

The company works with the SDG&E utility and says it has experience with each net metering era, from NEM 1.0 to NBT. Installations are designed to look clean on the roof, with hidden wiring and color-matched hardware, and on Spanish clay tile roofs the panels can be recessed. Homeowners receive a full walkthrough of their system and app. Quotes can be requested online or by phone, and consultations can be scheduled. The business is based in San Diego.
