Builders Now

Builders Now is a San Diego general contractor that takes on whole-home remodels, additions, new custom homes, SB9 multi-unit projects and accessory dwelling units. The firm works mainly with owners of older houses who have a big plan but little time to manage the job. Its whole-home remodels are the core of the work, and the firm says its process and permitting experience matter most there.

The company runs each major remodel through JobTread, a shared schedule that logs every step with dates so the owner can follow decisions as they happen. A first consultation is a 30-minute call, and the firm will say so if it isn't the right builder for a project. It lists service across 17 San Diego neighborhoods and cities, and its office is on Ingraham Street in San Diego. Weekday office hours are listed as 7 AM to 4 PM.
