Cesarina

Cesarina is an Italian trattoria known for its daily fresh pastas and regional Italian entrées, along with a tableside tiramisù that has drawn press attention. Everything is made in house, and an open-air pasta factory lets diners watch dough being rolled and pastries being made. Food writers and magazines have featured the restaurant, and the Michelin Guide listed it among San Diego's Bib Gourmand restaurants.

Reservations are recommended, though walk-ins are welcome. The bar is not reservable, and walk-in tables open mainly through late cancellations and no-shows. Valet parking runs in front of the restaurant Thursday through Sunday evenings, and guest parking is across the street. The two garden patios are dog-friendly, and the restaurant offers takeout, gift cards and catering. It sits on Voltaire Street in San Diego.
