Kevlar K9 Academy

Kevlar K9 Academy is a veteran-owned dog training business with a positive reinforcement, relationship-first approach. Its core offerings are board and train, where a dog stays for daily one-on-one training, and private lessons in 4- or 8-week packages where owner and dog learn together. The academy also offers pet boarding for dogs that are not training there. Common work includes jumping, biting and nipping, leash pulling, resource guarding and manners and commands, and it takes puppies through adult dogs.

Every new client starts with a free, no-obligation consultation to meet the dog and owner and recommend a program. The San Antonio location is at 1031 Donaldson Ave, and the business also runs a second location in Oklahoma City. Support continues after training ends, with questions and tune-ups included.
