Boerne Canine Academy

Boerne Canine Academy is a dog training business run by owner Juan F. Garcia, a retired Air Force veteran, with Kendra as lead trainer. It works with dogs from about six months old, of all breeds and sizes, using positive reinforcement and optional e-collar training. Programs cover basic and advanced obedience, on and off leash, and rehabilitation for dogs with behavior problems.

Training is offered as 14-day or 20-day board and train programs, or one-hour private lessons, including lessons at your home. Each board and train program ends with a one-hour hands-on session for owners and their dog, and follow-up visits are included. A free phone consultation and an initial in-home evaluation come before enrolling. The academy serves Boerne, San Antonio, and surrounding areas.
