Bexar Barbell

Bexar Barbell is an Olympic weightlifting club and one of the largest USA Weightlifting clubs in the country, with more than 150 registered athletes. Its coaching covers everyone from beginners to senior international competitors and masters athletes, and it is the Olympic weightlifting facility Texas points to most. Coaches are USA Weightlifting certified and led by a Senior International Coach.

Members train in a nearly 3,000 square foot weightlifting hall or remotely with individualized programming and video feedback, and more than half the members train from other parts of the country and the world. In-house membership includes team training, and the first drop-in visit is free. Gym access is open to members from early morning until late evening, and no contracts are required. The gym is in San Antonio.
