Alamo Dog Obedience Club

Alamo Dog Obedience Club runs dog training classes and AKC-sanctioned events at its indoor training and event center in San Antonio. Classes cover puppy and basic manners, agility, rally, competition obedience, scent work and Fast CAT, a timed lure-chasing sprint for dogs. The club also hosts trials and Fast CAT competitions on its track.

Classes are scheduled in blocks through the week, with beginner agility, puppy manners and rally offered at several times. Many classes are taught by individual instructors, so the club's site suggests contacting the instructor directly to reserve a spot, since class sizes are limited. Private and semi-private lessons are available, and monthly students get free recall practice on the track. The center is at 8013 New Sulphur Springs Road on the southwest side of San Antonio and is climate controlled.
