The Pedal Factory

The Pedal Factory is a community bike shop in Salisbury that offers affordable drop-off repairs and sells refurbished used bicycles. Its shelves hold used parts, bike frames and riding gear, and the stock changes often. The shop is known for its free Earn-A-Bike program, where anyone who completes a checklist with some learning and volunteer work in the shop can take home an overhauled bicycle.

Repairs are handled by the shop's staff mechanics, and drop-offs are welcome during open hours on Tuesday through Thursday afternoons. Anyone who wants to fix their own bike can use the shop's tools and used parts during those open work days. The shop also accepts bicycle, parts and gear donations, and donations are tax-deductible. Pickups of donated items can be arranged by phone or email.
