Private club with Donald Ross golf course and tennis747 Club Drive., Salisbury, NC
The Country Club of Salisbury is a private club founded in 1920 on its current site, grown out of a six-hole course first laid out in 1919 along the old racetrack and fairgrounds off Brenner Avenue. Its eighteen-hole golf course was originally designed by Donald Ross and remains the club's centerpiece, with five sets of tees for players of different levels. The club also has six lit tennis courts, three clay and three hard, along with a clubhouse dining room, a Grill Room and banquet space.
Members and their guests have full use of the clubhouse and facilities, and the club also hosts events, meetings and weddings in its Ballroom, Centennial Room and Private Dining Room, with events ranging from large gatherings to small dinners. Golf and tennis instruction is offered for all ages, including junior golfers. The club is at 747 Club Drive in Salisbury.
