Dough Hook Bake Shop

Dough Hook Bake Shop makes filled donuts, croissant pastries and giant donuts that can be made in any flavor. Favorites on the menu include the Marion Berry with Lemon Drizzle donut and the Spinach and Feta croissant, and the bakery also makes a concha using the family's recipe.

The owner, Maria Guadalupe Alvarez, known as Lupe, started the business after years of baking, and her brother Javier is the head baker in Salem. The shop also has a location in Corvallis. Vegan options are available, and produce is sourced locally when possible. Selling out is common, so arriving early is a good idea. Donuts are also sold in boxes of six or twelve.
