Coop's Iron

Coop's Iron Works is a gym at 3081 Bay Plaza Drive in Saginaw with a full weight room, space for powerlifting and bodybuilding, and a turf training room for speed, agility and functional work. Group classes include Couch 2 Cardio, Gymsanity and bootcamp, and one-on-one personal training is available with certified instructors. The recovery area offers a cold plunge, infrared sauna, leg compression, massage and tanning.

Unlimited memberships include use of the sauna, cold plunge, compression, massage chair and tanning, and there are monthly contracts on one- and two-year terms as well as a three-month option. The nutrition center gives advice on food and drinks, sells supplements and makes fresh shakes before or after a workout. Classes and sign-ups run through the free app, and the gym is open 24 hours on weekdays from Tuesday through Friday, so early and late sessions are easy to fit in. Staff are licensed and certified.
