The Sweet Tooth

The Sweet Tooth has been making candy and treats since 1906, working from a family recipe for hand made caramel and Chicago style popcorn. The shop also carries retro candies, saltwater taffy, hand dipped ice cream, shaved ice and chocolate dipped treats, along with a large selection of Cherry Republic products.

Gourmet popcorn comes in many flavors, and the staff will make custom popcorn for birthdays, graduations, weddings and corporate events. Gift baskets can be put together from scratch with help from the staff, and there are biscuits for dogs too. The shop is at 53 Bridge Street in Rockford, and its hours change by season, with a winter closure from January until early April, so check ahead before visiting.
