The Pump House

The Pump House is a Southern-inspired chophouse in a five-story building on the banks of the Catawba River. The kitchen focuses on locally sourced ingredients cooked simply, with starters, shareable sides and desserts, and the bar is known for hand-crafted signature cocktails and a wine list that has won a Wine Spectator award.

The restaurant serves lunch, brunch and happy hour, and it suits an after-work drink, a birthday or a working lunch. Reservations can be made online, and happy hour runs Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 6:30 pm at the rooftop and third-floor bar. Gift cards can be bought online or by phone, and private dining is available. Starting September 1, 2026, a 2% surcharge applies to credit card payments, and cash or debit avoids it. The restaurant is in Rock Hill, on Herrons Ferry Road.
