Charlotte Dog Training Club is a volunteer-run dog training club that has served dog owners since 1955. It offers puppy and family dog training classes along with dog sports in Obedience, Rally, Agility and Scent Work, including AKC-affiliated trials. Classes use positive reinforcement methods, and shock and electronic stimulation collars are not permitted.
Classes are taught by experienced volunteer instructors in a heated, air-conditioned, fully matted facility off I-77 between exits 79 and 81. The club welcomes students from Charlotte, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, York County and nearby communities. Drop-in sessions run weekly for Obedience, Rally, Agility, Conformation, Open and Utility, and members pay less than non-members per session.
