Sun Hill Optical

Sun Hill Optical is an optometry practice offering eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses and designer frames. The optometrists treat vision problems along with conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome and keratoconus, and they also offer myopia management and personalized fittings for eyeglasses and contacts.

The practice is family-run and independent, first opened in Sun City Center in 1976, and it now also has offices in Riverview and Valrico. Eyeglasses are made in the in-house lab at the Valrico office. Exams can be booked online, and the practice accepts a range of insurance plans, so it is worth calling the office to confirm coverage. Saturdays are by appointment only.
