Westhampton College is one of the schools within the University of Richmond, and its dean's office handles academic and student matters for the college. The college's community traditions include the Ring Dance and the Senior Celebration, and it runs a program in gender and sexuality studies.

The dean's office is open on weekdays and can be reached by phone for appointments and general questions, or by email for individual staff members. Students and families who need help on nights or weekends can call the university police non-emergency line, and emergencies at any hour go to the university police line. Concerns about a student can be reported through an online form, though urgent matters are best handled by phone. The college is located on the University of Richmond campus in Richmond, Virginia.
