Skill-building early learning for infants through school-age children

Recreational and competitive gymnastics for preschoolers through adults2540 Norcliff Rd, Richmond, VA

Phoenix Legacy Gymnastics has taught gymnastics in Richmond since 2004, with classes from toddlers and preschoolers through school-age kids and adults. Parent-and-child Mommy and Me sessions start at 6 months, and Legacy Kids classes build coordination and the ability to follow directions in the gym. Newcomers can start with Intro to Gymnastics, and the competitive team is aimed at children who have competed before or want a more competitive edge. The gym also offers specially designed classes for kids with physical or mental abilities, focused on confidence and strength.
Recreational gymnastics is a major focus, and coaches do not pressure children to join the team. Classes run on weekday afternoons and evenings, with Saturday morning and afternoon sessions and Sunday hours into the evening. Birthday parties and summer camps are also offered. The gym sits on Norcliff Road, and its coaches include the owner and director, who has more than 26 years of coaching experience.
