Shyndigz

Shyndigz is a bakery and cafe on West Cary Street known for whole cakes, pies and other desserts, many of them made in small batches at its central bakery. The menu also includes coffee, cocktails, made-to-order savory dishes, and a gift shop with party supplies, cards and home goods. Gluten-free sweets and a vegan chocolate Bundt cake are offered every day.

Whole cakes and pies can be pre-ordered online for pickup, and takeout is available. The market has free parking in its own lot and on the surrounding blocks. Next door at The Fancy Biscuit, a sister restaurant serves southern breakfast and dinner dishes, with a weekly dine-in birthday special for Shyndigz cake.
