Ruby Scoops

Ruby Scoops makes premium small-batch ice creams, sorbets, sherbets and baked goods, all scratch made with ingredients from local farms. Chef and owner Rabia Kamara is known for inventive flavors such as sweet corn and Old Bay caramel, and she has appeared on local and national television. Fresh cookies are also part of the menu.

The scoop shop in Northside Richmond opened in November 2020 and keeps afternoon and evening hours, with weekend hours starting at midday. Ruby Scoops also makes desserts for weddings and corporate events, and custom orders can be arranged through the contact form on its website.
