Reno Sport and Spine Institute

Reno Sport & Spine Institute is a physical therapy practice known for orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, from back and neck pain to post-surgical recovery and return-to-sport training. The practice uses the McKenzie Method for spinal and extremity problems, with five therapists credentialed in it, and offers balance and fall-risk programs for older adults along with industrial rehabilitation for work-related injuries.

The practice is therapist-owned and was established in 1990. Nevada is a direct access state, so patients can be seen by a licensed physical therapist without a physician referral, though some insurance plans still require one. The Reno practice is at South Reno Medical Plaza on McCabe Drive, and there are also clinics in Sparks and at Caughlin Ranch. The Caughlin Ranch location has the only AlterG treadmill in Northern Nevada.
