Pediatric Motor Playground

Pediatric Motor Playground runs a motor skills program for children, built around a curriculum meant to strengthen handwriting, muscle strength and coordination, ball skills, balance, and visual motor skills. The program also works on hand-eye coordination, sensory processing, and following directions through transitions. Its founders, Brian Foltz and Ross Sato, are both occupational therapists.

Families can start with a free trial class, and the business also runs an Educational Fitness Center focused on children's health and learning performance. Teachers, pediatricians, therapists and parents refer children to the program. Besides a Lafayette location in Northern California, the Southern California site is in Redondo Beach.
