About Windmill Lakes Golf Club

The story

Windmill Lakes Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course with rolling hills, a parkland layout, and six lakes. The course has more than 50 bunkers and large, fast greens, and it has only two par-five holes, with a number of tough par-fours. It has hosted amateur and professional events and was named Golf Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association in 2011.

Golfers can book tee times by phone or online. The club offers a driving range on mats, a pro shop, outdoor lessons and club fittings, and junior golf, plus outings and banquets. A 2.75% convenience fee applies to credit and debit card payments, and cash avoids it. The course is in Ravenna, about 20 miles east of Akron.
