Bean and the Baker

Bean and the Baker is a café and coffeehouse in the Historic Phoenix Building in downtown Ravenna. It is known for organically grown, freshly ground coffee, specialty coffee drinks, scones, muffins, danishes, cookies and tarts, along with breakfast sandwiches on bagels or croissant rolls and made-to-order sandwiches, paninis, wraps and salads at lunch.

The café is a social enterprise owned by Coleman Health Services, a nonprofit provider of mental health, addictions and rehabilitation services in Ohio, and all proceeds support that mission. Regulars can stop in for a quick breakfast or lunch, and the café also handles catering for meetings, lunches and parties. Its hours are weekdays in the morning and early afternoon, with shorter weekend hours.
