Desert Island Country Club

Desert Island Country Club is a golf club in Rancho Mirage with a lakeside putting green, a golf course, and several dining and event rooms. Its event spaces include a ballroom set up for music stages, dance floors and receptions, The Penney, an indoor-outdoor terrace restaurant room for 100 to 150 guests with a horseshoe cocktail bar, the Parlour cocktail lounge, and a shaded, misted patio that holds banquets of up to 50.

Private events are arranged through an inquiry form on the club's events page. The 9 1/2 Bar & Kitchen sits beside the putting green between holes nine and ten, though it is closed for the summer. The Golf Shoppe keeps daily morning and early afternoon hours. The club is at the Frank Sinatra Drive address in Rancho Mirage, so it works well for a golf outing or a private party.
