Lonnie Poole Golf Course

Lonnie Poole Golf Course is a public 18-hole course on NC State University's Centennial Campus, designed by Arnold Palmer and billed as the only collegiate golf course in the world designed by him. It serves as the home venue for NC State's men's and women's golf teams and as a learning and research site for the university's agriculture and natural resources programs. The course is playable for all skill levels, with views of the Raleigh skyline.

The course is open to the general public, with tee times, daily rates and annual package plans available. Lessons, club fitting, clinics and youth programs are offered through the course's golf pros, and the clubhouse hosts private events. Golfers should note that it sits on a university campus near downtown Raleigh, and the course is maintained largely through ongoing donor support.
