Bell Lap Cycleworks

Bell Lap Cycleworks is a mechanic-owned bike shop in North Raleigh that handles tune-ups, brake and drivetrain repairs, wheel building, chain waxing, custom builds and professional bike fitting. Josh Hatchell, the shop's IBFI-certified fitter, uses saddle pressure mapping to set up riders on their own bikes, and the shop is an authorized dealer for Specialized, Bianchi, TIME, Niner and State Bicycle. Tune-ups are offered in three tiers, and repair prices are posted on the website.

The Creedmoor Road shop sits in the Lynnwood Collection shopping center, with free parking in front, and walk-ins are welcome. Fittings are by appointment only, and the shop also has a second location in Lafayette Village. Most repairs are ready within the same week.
