Buttons & Bows Preschool

Buttons & Bows Preschool is a part-time preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds on South Hill in Puyallup, running focused half-day classes built around the HighScope curriculum with Montessori-inspired methods. Music, movement and STEM activities are part of each day, and the school says its goal is kindergarten readiness in literacy, communication and social skills.

The 3-year-old class meets Thursdays and Fridays and the 4-year-old class meets Monday through Wednesday, and children must be 3 or 4 by September 1 and fully potty trained. Drop-off is handled at the car, the school uses the Brightwheel app for updates and photos, and it does not accept state childcare subsidies. Families can reach the school by phone or book a tour.
