The XO Bar

The XO Bar is a lounge on the first floor of the historic John Updike House, known for live jazz, craft drinks and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. It suits a quiet drink after work, a catch-up with friends, or a night out with music.

The bar also hosts private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, networking gatherings and private parties. There is no room rental fee for events. Guests can bring their own food or a caterer, and the bar handles drinks and service. Hours run later on Friday and Saturday nights, and the bar is at 125 North Main St. in Providence.
