McBride's Irish Pub

McBride's Irish Pub is an Irish pub on Wayland Avenue in Providence, known for its Reuben sandwiches and pints and for regular live Irish music. It was built from the former nine-car garage of the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, and the pub keeps a few original touches, including two stained glass doors with the "M" crest hung on either side of the bar.

Live music is on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, and trivia runs Wednesday nights starting at 9pm. Every night at 10pm the pub holds Last Call, when a loved one's name is read and toasted, and staff can provide a card on request. Parking is in the Wayland Square lot, where validation gives three hours free. The pub is open daily from late morning until late night, with the kitchen closing at 10pm.
