The Scurvy Dog is a punk rock and roll pub on the west side of Providence, known for twenty taps, forty-five bottles and more than forty whiskeys. The music runs from punk and garage to death metal, outlaw country, blues and rockabilly, with plenty of Devo, Slayer and AC/DC in the mix.
The large outdoor beer garden is breezy and shady and overlooks Olneyville. Inside there is a pool table and a pinball machine, and a big parking lot makes it easy to pull up. The bar is open every day of the year, with later hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Its events calendar lists live shows, including a parking lot mega show scheduled for October 10, 2026.
