Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar

Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar is a coffee shop serving locally roasted coffee and fresh daily pastries, along with seasonal drinks. Owner Neal Kaplan, a longtime Smith Hill resident, set out to create a neighborhood café where people can gather and talk.

The shop sits in a historic carriage house tucked behind the Foundry complex on a small street in Providence, so it is easy to miss on a first pass. Guests can sit indoors or outside, use the Wi-Fi, or take a drink and pastry to go. Gift cards are available through the shop or by phone.
