Mokban

Mokban is a Korean bistro that serves traditional home-style meals built around a bowl of rice, a small soup and a set of banchan, the small side dishes with varied textures and flavors. The kitchen keeps the authenticity of Korean home cooking but uses more contemporary techniques and presentations. Dishes like bibimbap, along with kimchi and fermented pastes such as doenjang and gochujang, show up across the menu.

The restaurant is on Westminster Street in downtown Providence and is family owned. It grew out of a small mom-and-pop Korean spot and reopened under the Mokban name in 2017 with a revamped interior and new menu. Takeout is available through its online ordering, which offers zero delivery fee through the restaurant's own link.
