Maiz

Maiz is a small Mexican restaurant with locations in Providence and South Kingstown. The menu is built on traditional recipes from home cooks in Mexico, and the kitchen makes its dishes in house from scratch, including tender chicken tinga, soft corn tortillas and zesty salsa verde. The restaurant has been voted best Latin restaurant in South County by Rhode Island Monthly.

The Providence location is at South Angell Street, and the restaurant also takes catering requests for events. Catering inquiries are handled by sending the event type, date and time, number of guests and budget per person. The site also offers 15% off a next in-person order for people who sign up for its mailing list.
