AS220

AS220 is a non-profit community arts organization that gives people access to galleries, performance venues, educational opportunities, residential spaces and work studios. Its programs cover live music and theatre, gallery exhibits, dance classes, artmaking workshops and a free after-school arts program for young artists.

Artists and groups can book their own live events in the venues or hang their work in one of the galleries. Community Studios memberships and workshops are open to people who want to learn a new creative skill or sharpen an existing one. The main office is on Mathewson Street in downtown Providence, and office hours are weekdays during the day.
