Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital

Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital cares for dogs, cats and horses from its Natchez Avenue building in Prior Lake. The small animal side has three veterinarians who handle wellness visits, surgery and dentistry, with an in-house lab and digital radiography on site. The equine side has six veterinarians focused on horses, with sports medicine, reproduction and foaling care among its specialties.

Horse owners and dog or cat owners use separate entrances, front desks and teams, so each side runs on its own. Equine emergency care is available every day of the year, and after-hours callers leave a name, number and brief description of the problem. Small animal owners should call during business hours first, since the team tries to fit in same-day emergency visits. When the hospital is closed, small animal emergencies are referred to other clinics in the south metro. Boarding is offered for small animals.
