Summerwind Jewelers

Summerwind Jewelers is a family-run jewelry store on Market Street in downtown Portsmouth, selling fine jewelry in gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones and lab-grown stones. The shop is known for its own designs, including custom pieces, and for repair work done in-house by its goldsmiths, with a laser welder used for close work around gemstones.

Custom design and repair are handled by appointment-style consultations through the shop, and the team recommends bringing jewelry in for a check at least once a year. Repairs include ring sizing, chain repair, prong re-tipping and watch battery changes, and some services such as diamond re-cutting are done off-site. The store is open Monday through Saturday, and it buys gold and silver as well as selling new pieces.
