Seacoast Mental Health Center

Seacoast Mental Health Center is a community mental health provider serving the eastern half of Rockingham County. Its services cover adults, older adults, and youth and families, including crisis services, psychiatric services, and training and education. Care is offered in its offices, in community settings such as schools and primary care offices, and by telehealth.

New patients start by calling the Admissions Department at the Portsmouth or Exeter office, Monday through Friday during business hours, to begin an intake. The center accepts most private insurance plans as well as Medicaid and Medicare, and offers a sliding fee scale for people without eligible coverage. The Portsmouth office is at 1145 Sagamore Avenue, and there is an Exeter office as well.
