K&H AutoShop

K&H AutoShop is a family-run auto repair shop on East Burnside Street in Portland. Five brothers own and work at the shop, learning the trade from their father, a lifelong mechanic, and their parents still take part in the business. The shop handles routine maintenance and major repairs, including oil changes and tune-ups, brake and suspension work, engine diagnostics, transmission service, AC and heating repair, and general inspections for used car buyers.

The shop works on most makes and models, and customers can book appointments online or by phone. Hours run Saturday through Thursday, with the shop closed on Fridays. Customers say walk-ins are sometimes welcome on weekend mornings, but calling ahead is the surest way to get in.
