Sit Happens

Sit Happens is an in-home dog training business run by Mackenzie Dugas, a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner and member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Training is built around the owner as much as the dog, with a focus on positive relationships and a plan tailored to each household's goals.

Services include a 30 to 45 minute in-home consultation, private one-on-one lessons held at your home, and day training made up of short 30 minute sessions two or three times a week. Consultations are described as a required first step before other training, and owners may be asked to send videos of problems ahead of the visit. The business is based in Portland, Maine and serves the Cumberland County area.
