Nomads

Nomads is a clothing and gear shop for people on the move, selling women's and men's apparel, footwear, outerwear, swimwear, bags and packs, luggage and travel essentials. The shop carries brands such as Prana, Toad & Co., Kuhl and Patagonia, chosen for performance and for their social and environmental commitments. Its customers range from travelers to people heading to a local trail or workout studio.

The store opened on Commercial Street in 2002 and was founded by Kelly Fernald and Todd Forsyth, with Hannah Wolken taking over in 2022. It is locally owned and woman owned, on the waterfront in Portland's Old Port district, and it sells gift cards. The team is glad to help shoppers find clothing for yoga, sport or travel.
