Hand-painted furniture, home decor and DIY workshops1026 Forest Avenue, Portland, ME
GooeyGump Designs is a family-owned lifestyle boutique selling hand-painted furniture, home decor, gifts, accessories and crafty DIY supplies. The shop works with a range of paints, topcoats and waxes, and the same products are used on its custom furniture projects, so customers can finish a piece at home the way the shop does.
The store spans two floors and is open Wednesday through Sunday. It also runs DIY workshops where guests learn to paint furniture and make upscale crafts, and guests are welcome to bring a friend and a bottle of wine. The space hosts private events too. Each Thursday night the shop holds a live sale on its Facebook page with new items. The business is on Forest Avenue in Portland, Maine.
